Sant Kirpal Singh Ji Maharaj (1894-1974) born on 6th February 1894 in distt. Rawalpindi. He was the follower of Baba Sawan Singh ji Maharaj. In his 26 years in the field of mysticism he established over 250 mystic centers in various countries. In 1957 Sant Kirpal Singh Ji Maharaj was elected President of World Fellowship of Religions. He organized four world conferences in 1957, 1960, 1963 and 1970. In 1962 fifteen hundred year old Christian organization Sovereign Order of St. John of Jerusalem, “Knights of Malta” awarded honour of “Grand Commander” to Maharajji. In 1947 Indian Parliament honoured Saint Kirpal Singh Ji Maharaj, in the history of Indian Parliament this was the first occasion that Indian Parliament honoured any spiritual saint.

Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj is the head of Sawan Kirpal Ruhani Mission and President of World council of religions. In 1993 he spoke at the parliament of world’s religions in Chicago. In 1990, while addressing the minister of education of Colombia he said that to establish world peace beside physical and mental development, we should take care to provide spiritual love and peace to the children from their childhood as a regular subject setting apart one period everyday in all the schools. In 1995 he received the “International Distinguished Leadership Award” from the Illinois Institute of technology USA. Maharajji expressed the path of spirituality very clearly and directly dedicated to the humanity, he says, “It is only when each individual has achieved inner peace that we will see lasting outer peace in the world”. At the outset of every endeavour, one must look to the end of it.”
